PT BMW Indonesia to strengthen the brand position in the high-class sedan segment with the launch of the latest variant of the BMW 730Li Comfort targeted sales boost this year through more than 720 units.

Until September, a German automobile manufacturer is to rule the premium sedan segment in the price class above Rp2 billion through its flagship model, the BMW 7 Series which sold more than 37 units.

Divyanathan Ramesh, President Director of PT BMW Indonesia, said sales rose 7 Series more than doubled compared with last year and the presence of new variant is expected to encourage higher sales of these models in the domestic market.

"For the entire series 7 Series models, until the end of the year we were targeting as many as 40 units-50 units. We are optimistic that this year sales of BMW is higher than the realization of 2008 and next year will rise again this year, with no interference record tax factor to the market national, "he said in the launch of the BMW 730Li Comfort, yesterday.

Dibanderol a price of Rp1, 76 billion (off the road DKI Jakarta), BMW 730 Li Comfort complements two previous variants, the BMW 750Li and the BMW 740 Li, which was released in February.

As the flagship model of BMW 7 Series confirmed its dominance as the segment leaders as the election of this model as the official vehicle of APEC Economic Leaders meeting Meeting of the 20 in Singapore, 14-15 November.
